LB: Советую заглянуть сюда: http://www.teachitworld.com/ Teaching ideas Sometimes you need inspiration more than you need a particular resource, a good idea that can be adapted for any class and any level. Here is a selection of tried and tested ideas, handed on from teacher to teacher, to get you started

DTG: Правда, интересно

OVZ: http://www.eb.com - энциклопедия "Britannica Online"

OVZ: Увлекательные задания с http://www.edu.ge.ch

OVZ: There is a website (www.worldecitizens.net/peace_room) On the home page, first you should read the History. Then please download the PowerPoint presentation. If you have problems downloading it I can email it to you. The Presentation is really the starting point, and teachers should use it to tell students about the Peace Room. During the Presentation there is a place for having a debate where students can nominate people to go in the Peace Room and other students can put forward their reasons for or against, then everyone can have a vote. You can debate quite a few ideas, then finish the Power Point. You will then need to ask the students to go and research the person they feel should be given a place in the Peace Room. In the next lesson, you can then show the students the Peace Room. On the home page it asks you to "click here" to enter the Peace Room. If you do that, you see a plan of the Peace Room. You can show the students the nominations that have already been submitted by clicking on the Window Seat. You can read the entries which HAVE made it to the bookshelf by clicking on the bookshelf, and you can then discuss what makes a good Peace Room nomination. You can allow students to vote for the nominations from other students in other countries, and get them to write their own nominations, by clicking on the chair. Their teachers SHOULD read through the students work and check that the students have written good nominations, then they can be allowed by the teacher to go to the table and submit their own nominations. Teachers can nominate people too. The whole process, if done completely, does take a few lessons, with some homework time too, but it is very well worth it. At the moment we have some very interesting nominations from Czech Republic, and some from China which are worth voting for.
